Mental Health Residential Program

Mental Health Residential Program

Banyan Mental Health is a residential treatment facility for mental health dedicated to the welfare and recovery of our patients. Our mental health residential treatment is completely comprehensive and customized to ensure that our patients receive the best treatment possible. Patients can expect to undergo an initial medical assessment that determines the necessary treatment plan. Many patients require a residential level of care when it comes to their diagnosis. Residential treatment involves a heavy therapy regimen, which has produced many successful results for our patients. Our team of licensed clinicians and therapists is dedicated to guiding each patient through the recovery journey every step of the way.

What Is Residential Treatment for Mental Health?

Mental health residential treatment centers like ours vary in the services they offer, the mental disorder they treat, and the treatment approaches they utilize. At our Banyan mental health facility, we offer inpatient mental health treatment for conditions like:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Depression
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Schizophrenia
  • Substance-Induced Psychosis
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD)

Residential treatment for mental health is a level of care in which patients live at our facility while receiving any one of our mental health treatments. This is a higher level of care than our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), during which patients live off-site.

The mental health residential treatment program at Banyan takes place a minimum of 6-8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. While receiving mental health residential treatment at our facility, patients remain under 24-hour care and supervision, with access to doctors, nurses, therapists, and mental health technicians. It is here that they will undergo a thorough clinical assessment to aid in proper diagnoses and medication evaluation, to ensure that they are adequately stabilized before transitioning to a lower level of care, such as our PHP program. Should a patient require medically monitored detox resulting from a substance abuse problem, they will enter residential care after detox has been completed. Patients undergo a regular psychiatric evaluation, group, and individual therapy sessions, and have the opportunity to participate in various ancillary, holistic treatment options while receiving Banyan’s mental health residential treatment in Boca Raton, Florida.

Effective Inpatient Mental Health Treatment

Patients can expect to fully overcome their mental health struggles during their mental health residential rehabilitation treatment programs. We individually work with patients to make sure that they are staying on track for a successful recovery. We teach patients how to properly manage their symptoms so that they can fully lead a normal lifestyle outside of treatment. During a stay at Banyan Mental Health, patients will engage in a wide variety of therapy methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, depending on their diagnosis. Our mental health residential treatment programs are designed to focus solely on recovery, and there are no outside distractions that can hinder a patient’s progress.

Once you complete our mental health residential program, our support does not end here. Based on the evaluation, our patients may be placed in a partial hospitalization program, or we will develop a unique aftercare plan that includes constant maintenance on recovery efforts. If you or your loved one is suffering from any mental illness, there is hope for overcoming the daily struggles. By undergoing mental health treatment, you can completely change your life for the better and learn how to manage your symptoms. Contact us today to learn more about our customized programming.
